SHIPO Showcases Acoustic Panels with Creative Patterns and Curves

A pattern that looks like stacked cubes is an unexpected place to start a conversation about acoustic panels. It is one of the designs in SHIPO's factory showcase, alongside familiar wood-look slats, graphic linework and flowing waves. A separate bending demonstration adds another point of interest for designers, distributors and commercial project buyers.

Classic wood-look slats beside a three-tone pattern that creates the illusion of stacked cubes.

Wood tones meet graphic contrast

Warm wood-look strips over a black backing give the classic slatted panel a regular, measured rhythm. Picture it behind a reception desk or along a meeting-room feature wall, where a straightforward linear layout can complement the furniture and lighting. The cube-inspired design takes a more playful direction, using contrasting tones to suggest depth. Side by side, the two samples show how much the arrangement of lines can change the character of a surface.

For projects that include acoustic treatment, these designs give the visual side of the specification its own place in the conversation.

Geometric designs invite a second look

The geometric samples reward a closer look. Fine diagonal lines gather into triangular sections on one square panel. A warm wood-look design uses irregular polygon outlines to create a freer composition. On another, a symmetrical arrangement draws the eye toward the center, giving the panel the presence of a framed graphic artwork.

From left: intersecting diagonals, irregular polygons and a centered symmetrical design.

Black lines remain a strong visual thread across the selection, but their direction changes the effect. Closely spaced diagonals create a fine, detailed rhythm. Larger polygon shapes leave more room for the wood grain to stand out. The symmetrical composition brings a more ordered focal point. Each gives a designer a different way to frame a wall or define a feature area.A distinctive look for commercial spacesImagine a geometric panel behind a boutique display or a reception desk, where its pattern can be appreciated at close range. A quieter linear design could complement a meeting room with busy furniture and shelving. These are useful starting points for a design discussion: consider the viewing distance, the size of the feature area and how the pattern relates to the rest of the interior.

For a distributor, showing these styles together can help customers compare the look they want for a project. A sample display makes the difference between a fine diagonal pattern and a bold geometric composition immediately visible.

Curves introduce a different kind of movement

The wave-pattern panel takes the familiar wood-and-black combination in a softer direction. Its decorative strips follow repeated curves, giving the face a flowing rhythm. The pattern could become a point of interest in a hotel lounge, a creative workspace or a branded retail interior.

The factory demonstration explores physical flexibility. A team member lifts a slatted panel into a broad curve while the strip pattern remains visible across its face. That movement is a feature of the design being demonstrated. Buyers considering a curved feature can discuss the appropriate panel construction and installation details with the SHIPO team.

Seen together, the photographs offer two ways to introduce a sense of movement: a wave pattern across the decorative face and a panel construction that can bend. Seeing the samples handled inside the factory also gives buyers a clearer view of their proportions and appearance.
